This should have come on the truck from the factory. Use Posi-Taps instead of the clip-on connectors that come with the kit. Those things chop wires in half. Posi-Tap just leaves a little pinhole and I've never had them fail on me. I opted for front driver's side door because I don't want to have to click the button a bunch of times to get the tailgate to pop. If there was a factory lock plug in the tailgate for this it'd be a really easy install. Instead you have to run a wire to the front of the truck and tap into wires. If you're handy and know exactly which wires to tap, it's just time consuming.
