Bee Bluff and the Buffalo National River by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: A view looking to the east while walking around the Steel Creek Campground area. What I was trying to capture with this setting wasn't just the river itself as it flowed by with some nearby bluffs and hillside of trees...it was the entire feel of this setting, including even with the tree limbs coming in from above nearby my location. I felt it all added to the complete winter setting in this part of northwest Arkansas in the Buffalo National River area.

I also got to do some hiking today. I went to Mill Bluff State Park. I climbed Mill Bluff and got a view of Bee Bluff and Camel Bluff, which I later hiked around. I also found Cleopatra's Needle along the way. Apparently these huge rocks used to be covered in a massive ancient lake known as Lake Wisconsin.
