Tumblr staff recently repeated the tired old myth that, according to science, bees should be unable to fly.

Anyone who takes two minutes to check will know that bee flight obeys the laws of aerodynamics.

The smugness and stupidity of “the bees don’t know what scientists think, so they do it anyway” really, really gets on my nerves.
