Caught this girlie because I thought she was a moth and I wanted to set her free, now I cannot figure out if this is a bee wasp or hornet. More likely a bee or wasp but im not sure which. I looked at identification stuff and it looked most like a honey bee but has the colouring and texture of a wasp. Doesnt look like a yellowjacket though which is the only wasp species ive seen before.

Does anyone know? Im from the south of the Uk if it helps ^^

Hello bee and pollinator savvy Tumblr - can anyone tell me what kind of bumblebee this is??? Friend is roughly the size of a large carpenter bee - around or over 1.5” - about three times the size of our average bumble (I think ours are typically black and golds? They’re small.)

Does anyone have any idea what kind of bee Clover could be(e)? I looked up bee species but... there are apparently over 16,000 known bee species, so I don't exactly want to look through them all myself and try to guess :')
