hi hi, for the remix, I was wondering if we were allowed to do more than one of their fics. on one hand, I understand that that could upset someone, but on the other, all of their fics are so good that I want them to know I could hardly choose!

Hi! That’s a sweet thought but please stick to remixing one fic for this event - if you really want to do another, go ahead and organise it with your recipient between yourselves once the event is over :)

I'm just wondering if we should be preserving dialogue, or freely rewriting dialogue scenes? (Sorry if this is a really obvious question, I've never done one of these before.)

That’s a good question! You can freely rewrite all the dialogue of the fic you’re remixing, you don’t have to keep it the same. This also goes for structure, style, length, POV etc - the important thing is maintaining the ‘core’ of the fic, which is the character(s)/pairing(s) and the plot!
