Rant away!! (sorry for sending this message basically twice, I thought this one hadn’t sent!) Exactly! I love Darren, but him being in this show and playing this character has really brought my opinion of him down. Same goes for most of them. Ugh.
Haha, thank you, love. (And no, you're good. :3) But yeah, I love all the cast, really. I think they're all amazing people and there's so much talent there it's really just...a fucking shame they're shackled to this shit and have to portray these dumbass fucking story lines and do this really basic shit that's pretty much lost any meaning or semblance of importance. The show is basically just a battle ground now for shippers to lob shit at one another and this episode is a perfect example of that. By throwing in tidbits that "Kurt was never really serious with Adam" it's given some Klainers fuel to start taunting Kadam shippers and rubbing shit in their face like, "Nah nah nah boo boo your ship was never canon!!!!1111!!!!" and it's just...ridiculous. There's not even any genuine happiness anymore over this kind of shit, it's all about who's on top. Who's being favored. Who's getting what they want. The whole thing is just one giant pissing contest anymore and it's just...really shitty. And it's using and breaking and bending characters to fuel these really shallow and banal concepts it's just...terrible. I don't say that to exaggerate, it's honestly just terrible. And granted this is only the first episode, but it's just another blip in the same downward trend that's been going on for a while now. And last season I thought maybe there was still some potential left in there. Maybe things could still be turned around, maybe it was all amounting to something. Things have to get worse before they get better, it's always darkest before the dawn, etc., etc. That maybe Glee had lost its footing there for a little while but pretty soon they would find a leg to stand on again, but...nah. It's just dying a really loud death and it's honestly akin to watching a horrific car accident take place in front of you. Only this one is so bad you really just have to look away because it's that disgusting.
