idk if it’s just bc it’s been years since i’ve been stung or bc i’ve been doing so much research about bees in recent years

but there’s a huge swarm that (thankfully) the landlord called a beekeeper to collect at the office complex i work in

and every day I’ve been going over to look at the swarm and how they’re collecting them bc it’s fascinating

and they keep getting curious and coming to boop around me and i’m not afraid at all of them

i used to like move away if they got too close just like out of habit and bc that’s what everyone else did but now i’m like ‘oh look at this small many-legged flying cat friend’

which is excellent bc it won’t take much time for me to be cool with my hives~
