Sandwich showdown! Today, my world was rocked to my core as we undertook the most serious of tasks: a #sandwichshowdown between #cherryvalleydeli and #cristinasdeli. For those who grew up in Queens, we all have our favorites, so I selected three friends who had had neither to join me on this culinary tour. We ate six sandwiches, two sides of couch and anticouch, and the always important, mozzarella sticks: I didn’t tell them which was which and I was ready to hear my childhood favorite called at the end. Alas, I was shook. The victory went to the Bad Boy roll, chicken cutlet, mozzarella, bacon, waffle fries, gravy on a roll from Cristina’s Deli in #beechurst #whitestone #queensny #nyc and it won Cristina’s the title of winner and myself a broken heart full of betrayal 😭 but for real, we ate six amazing sandwiches and Cristina’s just won the day.
