Learn how to make your own adorable bee cupcake toppers from candy melts. These bee-themed decorations will make your cupcakes look extra cute and perfect for any celebration!
Ingredients: 1 cup of yellow candy melts. 1/4 cup of black candy melts. 1/4 cup of white candy melts. 12 cupcakes pre-baked and cooled. 12 mini pretzel sticks. 24 candy eyes. 12 mini chocolate chips. 12 mini heart-shaped sprinkles. Wax paper.
Instructions: Melt the yellow candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Dip each mini pretzel stick into the melted yellow candy melts, coating it completely. Place them on the wax paper to set. These will be the bee's antennas. Using the black candy melts, draw thin stripes on the wax paper to create the bee's wings. Allow them to set. Once the pretzel sticks and wings have hardened, melt the white candy melts. Dip the top of each pretzel stick into the melted white candy melts and attach two candy eyes on top. These are the bee's eyes. Dip the tip of a mini chocolate chip into the white candy melts and attach it below the eyes to create the bee's stinger. Using the melted black candy melts, draw a small smile below the eyes. Take the cooled cupcakes and place a bee topper on each one, gently pressing it into the frosting. Finally, add a heart-shaped sprinkle to the back of each bee to create the bee's wings. Allow the toppers to set before serving on your cupcakes.
