Create delicious homemade burgers by grinding your own quality beef chuck. The result is a juicy and flavorful burger that's perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 pound of quality beef chuck. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments of choice.
Instructions: Cut the beef chuck into cubes that are 1 inch across. Put the beef cubes in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes to partially freeze them. This will make it easier to grind. Put the coarse grinding plate on your meat grinder and put it together. Put the beef cubes that are still partly frozen through the grinder. Add salt and pepper to the ground beef and mix it in slowly. Cut the seasoned beef into four equal pieces and use your hands to form them into burger patties. Warm up your grill or pan on the stove over medium-high heat. The burger patties should be grilled or cooked for three to four minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you like them more done. You can grill or toast the hamburger buns until they are lightly browned. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite toppings to your burgers. Toast the buns and put the freshly ground burgers on them.
