I usually like keeping Makoto as a total normie but his Tsukihime timeline self is one of the only times I let him have any power intrinsic to himself (since there's like... One scene in School Mode that suggests he might have Something). He's got a set of Pure Eyes that I call True Eyes (真眼, read as shingan) in my notepad. But here's the fun part: one way to read 真 is 'makoto'. So 真眼 is actually a pun. on 'Makoto's eyes'
