#MondayMotivation STORY TIME! This was my photography website when I graduated college with my BFA in 2013 (whew time flies)! Sometimes we forget how far we’ve come, and often times it’s easy for others to assume success happens overnight. . . I’ve had so much fun sharing my journey with current photography students and sharing how my camera became my tool to face my fears and follow my passion. Fun fact: My portfolio use to consist of “urban landscapes” because I was afraid to talk to and photograph people...and look at me now! 😭 . . . Thinking back, I’m so grateful I faced my fears because I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t. That’s why I choose daily to #BeeFearless because you never know what doors God is waiting for you to open on the other side of fear! . . . My new norm has been taking over @ladyb40 workstation to have Zoom calls with high school and college photography students and I can honestly say it’s been an amazing and a humbling experience! Having students contact me from around the world and reviewing portfolios and sharing my journey has filled me up so much! Crazy thing is I always wanted to find a way to interact with students more but felt I “needed” my own studio space to really make a difference and impact. All in all this pandemic has been a blessing because I’ve had the opportunity to GIVE more!
