happy birthday madlo
i used to make fun of this album for being kinda ass and not fun to listen to but the passage of time has revealed to me what was previously unapparent. that it's lowkey quite nice and pretty. short and sweet. synthy? beautiful, even. will toledo did it again. it makes me wonder if in five years i'll enjoy listening to the scholars. cause i kinda feel similarly that it is not very good #sorry
however comma life worth missing changed my life the instant that i heard it. few times have i imprinted on a song in such a way. i hear women in my head... and how lovely that there's multiple versions of it.
2026 is the year of revisiting albums i thought i hated i guess. i did a similar thing with twin fantasy. though i think i might like madlo more.... is that crazy to say.
if you have 47 minutes you should listen to car seat headrests making a door less open. and not think about how 2020 was six years ago. just listen to the music i would say
