Laura & Nathan~ one shot

Nathan squeezed my hand and smiled at me. We were stood on the balcony of our hotel room, which had a perfect view of the Eiffel Tour and all the major attractions in Paris.

I flicked a lock of straight blonde hair out of my eyes and went back into the hotel room. 

Nathan frowned, turning to watch me from the balcony. I searched through my bag, and pulled out my camera.

Moving back to the balcony quickly, I turned the camera on and held it in position. I captured a picture of the Eiffel tower, all lit up and beautiful. And then, when he wasn’t looking, I took a picture of Nathan, wanting to take a picture of yet another beautiful thing.

Unfortuntely, i’d left the flash on.

“Oi!” He laughed, grabbing th camera off me and falling back into the room. 

I followed him, jumping on him. “Give me it back!”

He laughed, falling on to the bed. I grabbed the camera, still lying on top of him, and checked to see whether he’d deleted the photo.

I lay the camera on the bed, and turned back to Nathan. 

He smiled, his face inches from mine. I smiled back, and he brought his lips up to mine to kiss me. I kissed him back, and he pulled away, smiling.

“I love you.” he said.

I smiled. “I love you too.”

one shot~ Laura and Nathan

I couldn't believe he was doing this. He was breaking up with her over a text message, I stood in the doorway of the sitting room. I had to say something but what? Why have you been distance the past couple of weeks? why did you break up with Grace? why are you being a general twat? I just had to ask him. 

"Nathan" I said sitting down next to him. He grunted in response.

"Nathan, why did you break up with her?" I asked. "I thought she made you happy"

He still didn't reply. I grabbed a cushion of the sofa and hit him across the head with it.

"What did you do that for?" He shouted, standing up in the process.

"Well, you were ignoring me. Just like you've been ignoring me for the past couple of weeks!" I shouted back at him. I'd had enough of his attitude.

"I wasn't ignoring you!" He shot back.

That was it. All the feelings I had been hiding for the past couple of weeks suddenly came spilling out.

"Yes, yes you have Nathan. Ever since you got with Grace, you have been avoiding me! You didn't return my calls or texts. I'm supposed to be your best friend but you've been treating me like crap," I had tears streaming down my face at this point. " And you've all of a sudden gotten an attitude. You always shout or yell at me."

"Laura" he said, stopping me in my tracks. I looked up at his face and saw that sparkle in his eyes which had made me fall in love with him in the beginning.

"What" I snapped. He looked quite hurt at the resentment. He lifted my chin up and placed his lips onto mine. It was perfect. Just like I'd imagined. He pulled away and looked for a reaction.

"I'm so sorry" He whispered " I'm sorry for ignoring you and having an attitude but over the past couple of weeks, I've seemed to notice that your perfect in everyway. the way your blue eyes sparkle and your just gorgeous"

I stood there not knowing what to say. I was speechless. I tried to speak but couldn't make anything come out. He laughed and pulled me in for a hug. I pushed him back.

"Is that why you broke up with Grace?" I asked. He nodded. I couldn't help but smile.

I had my best friend back and everything was just perfect.
