Thanks so much for all of the encouragement. I feel a lot better now, especially since I just got a response/had a conversation with her. She's not angry or hurt, she admitted that everything I said was true, but she didn't really seem too convinced that she needed to do anything further to change her lifestyle - she just kept trying to reassure me that she's already trying.
I don't want my mom to get to a point where she stops asking for help when she needs it; in fact, I'd much rather her ask me than put herself through the shame of asking a friend or acquaintance. But I want smart choices from now on. That's all I'm asking.
