What’s so funny about this? Beer Nuts are a peanut snack served with its husk but no shell, in a sweet-and-salty glaze. Bars usually serve them for free because they make customers thirsty and will get them to order more beer. "Nuts" is a slang euphemism for testicles, so deer nuts are really deer balls. A “buck” can refer to either a male deer or a slang term for a US dollar. Of course a beer nut could also be someone who's just crazy about beer. And THAT's what so funny!
