Asahi Breweries and Nikka Whisky Distilleries both offer factory tours. These guided tours feature explanations on the manufacturing process

In my city there is an Asahi Beer factory. If you apply for a factory tour, you can tour the factory and sample a couple of beers for free. This time there was a special paid factory tour, so I joined it. We were served a delicious snack lunch and tasted a new can of beer. The beer had a very tasty creamy foam.

The Iron City Brewery was first opened in 1861 by Edward Frauenheim. Ever since it has been a staple in the city of Pittsburgh. Now since 2010 this location is a historic landmark, after production of local favorites moved to the Latrobe plant in 2010.
