Enjoy the unique combination of beer, pretzels, and chocolate in these deliciously chewy cookies. The crushed pretzels add a salty crunch that perfectly complements the sweetness of the chocolate chips.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup crushed pretzels. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup beer lager or ale. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, crushed pretzels, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the beer and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
