Thank you, Undertale

for seeing me through high school graduation, moving house, the passing of a loved one, a bachelor's degree, two jobs and quitting one, the loss and gain of many friendships, and some of the greatest memories I've ever had. You've impacted my life in a way I could never describe, but most of all, thank you for being evergreen. I continue to be impacted, gain something, learn something, from Undertale with each passing year.

Despite everything, I'm still me. And I am so, so happy to be.

Happy 10th Anniversary.

A carriage the driver of which you can't make out?

A plane that landed without sound and whose sheet metal side gleams in the cloud filled night as the door on the side swings open?

Horseback riding in a valley you can't see the end of?

Which ever you pick 'adventure' awaits.

i think i'll have to go with the carriage with the unknown driver.

i hope we get to stop by at a mcdonalds.

Hey all, kind of a sad announcement.

I’ve decided to pause the development and postpone the release of “A Home for Cryptids”. I will no longer be participating in this game jam.

This was a difficult decision, but I realized that attempting to cram so much work into the last week is not in the spirit of the jam. I’ve been unwell the past couple of days, and recently realized that I am experiencing seasonal depression. I need to take care of my health.

“A Home For Cryptids” will exist some day, and Zero will be unleashed on the world somehow. We just need more time.

it’s going to become a legacy!! i’ve got the next few generations planned and i’m super excited to get into it! once the next generation starts (spoiler alert, dill’s the heir, i know you’re all shocked), i’m going to be starting a new blog. sideblog energy just ain’t for me anymore.

speaking of the next generation: i’ve officially just now queued the last post of generation 1. i’m going to be kicking the queue up here and moving to a new blog to start queueing more current gameplay posts.
