How stinkin lucky are our bees to have this view?! Mr. Misty is checking the hive that has the Hogg Half-comb box. They are just starting to build comb in it. It’s been a very odd year. The weather got the bees off to a late start. In fact, there are some Beeks in our county that have already decided they won’t be pulling honey off their hives. Luckily, we are at a higher elevation and though late, the nectar is currently flowing and we should have another month of it.
