"Cosmic Sans" (AKA "Wrinkle Sans," "Overly Detailed Sans," and "Foreskin Sans" is this guy. He's been an inside joke for the past half a decade in certain Undertale communities (TS!Underswap, Inverted Fate, etc.) and nobody has any clue who made him. We only know that his creator posted this to DeviantArt, and ended up getting banned for selling prints of his dick.

Now, he's gone viral, and people think that I made him. I did not!

I did make this, though -- a remake with Undertale Sans proportions.

Fan redesign of Asgore from TS!UNDERSWAP! (@tsunderswapofficial)

I pieced together bits of his official casual and formal battle sprites (collaboratively made by Devilredd, FifLeo, SuperKirbylover, myself, and likely some others) and made further edits -- giving him smaller pauldrons, a bald spot, and a flower crown to cover said bald spot!

I'm not sure what the story would be behind the flower crown, though I'd like to imagine someone made it for him. That'd be cute!

You likely wouldn't see the bald spot unless there was a gag, it fell off when he hugs Chara at the end of Ruined Home (and quickly grabs it and puts it over his bald spot), or you landed a killing blow.

Inspiration for the flower crown came from the thumbnail image for R.V Pine and jjaym15's Deltarune Asgore fantrack!

"Could You Repeat That?"

"Eavesdropping"-themed photoshop assignment for my Intro to Computer Art course, Spring 2023.

This piece aims to reflect the uncomfortable feeling of eavesdropping, and being eavesdropped upon -- using warped ears stretching from underneath a door, branching out, to evoke feelings of something surreal and intimidating.

Our instructions were to eavesdrop on a conversation and create a piece based upon anything related to it -- our thoughts and feelings when it came to the act, the contents / snippets of the conversation, or the act itself.

However, when it came to the act of eavesdropping, I felt very uncomfortable and like it was an invasion of privacy -- both from my perspective, and considering the perspective of individuals unknowingly being eavesdropped on.

For this, I decided not to eavesdrop on a conversation, and instead chose to reflect the feeling of eavesdropping. My brainstorming concepts included:

Having a door in the dark, with light and words coming out from underneath.

A more focused version of the previous idea, closer towards the bottom of the door itself -- the words would be more abstract, as to not communicate a specific conversation.

A person having their ear to a door, listening in on two people talking -- the person's ear has gone through the door, and appears much larger in a surreal and intimidating way.

Focusing more in on a surreal and intimidating take, having multiple ears sprouting from the gaps in a door and doorframe.

Similar to the previous idea, though having ears surrounding two people talking -- unsure about this one.

Similar to idea 2, but acting as an inverse -- having ears coming out from under the door, taking place from the perspective of the individual(s) being eavesdropped, rather than the eavesdropper.

An attempt at having the ear appear more monstrous and mouth-like, looking to eat words -- though this idea may be too complex, and would benefit more from the simplicity of previous ideas.

I had initially planned to go with idea #3, but had significant trouble with getting everything together as I had envisioned it. Instead, I decided to proceed with a more refined version of ideas 4 and 6 combined.

"Stargazing"

"Alternate universe"-themed photoshop assignment for my Intro to Computer Art course, Spring 2023.

My piece depicts a universe where all celestial objects are eyeballs looking downwards. A giant eye gazes upon the earth, with a large spotlight following its line of sight.

During my initial brainstorming, I explored different concepts primarily revolving around perspective/gravity, aboveground (e.g. sky, space)/belowground, and kaleidoscope/stained glass-esque visuals. In addition to my chosen concept, these included:

An upside-down house, on an upside-down floating chunk of land. This could have had smoke pouring out of the chimney, but floating upwards (from our perspective) rather than downwards.

Celestial objects (e.g. the moon, planets) buried underground like fossils and bones -- like how in some cartoons and animations, the underground is visualized as having dinosaur skeletons buried in the dirt.

An idea drawing inspiration from the previous two concepts, where people live "underground" (though flipped), and move downwards into the sky upon death. Potentially could have a skeleton reaching through the grave, and becoming alive -- or vice versa.

My least-developed concept: a universe where everything is visualized in kaleidoscope-esque visuals.

This was my first major project utilizing Photoshop, and I hadn't used this program for some time -- while it took some getting re-accustomed to, I'm really happy with how this turned out!

"Halloween"

Animated GIF assignment for my Illustration course.

Started off with brainstorming sketches based on a series of articles (topics were "Halloween," "Teenagers," and "Fasting"), made revisions based on peer feedback, and decided upon the refined "Halloween" concept for the final product.

Above are my various initial concept sketches for "Halloween," and my refined thumbnail sketch -- including one for the "Teenagers" topic.

The intent of my piece was to convey the article's perspective of Halloween -- being the relationship between growth/maturity, and the celebration of Halloween. A neglected and worn vampire costume can be seen between the same button-up shirts, showing the precedence that adult life unfortunately takes over celebrating the fun of Halloween -- while showing that love is still there, and the part it plays in one's childhood / life / memories.

"Sawtooth"

Compound word assignment for my Illustration course.

Started off with brainstorming sketches for "saw-tooth" and "door-man," selected the best concepts based on peer feedback, and further developed those chosen. "Saw-tooth" was chosen for the final product.

When it came down to my final thumbnail sketches, my main sources of inspiration for both were as follows:

Sawtooth: A more surreal, eerie take on the late 90s-early 2000s aesthetic of Nickelodeon. I went for a similar color palette (greens and oranges), and included splatters as a background element.

Doorman: A kind of cryptid inspired by the works of Trevor Henderson. I wanted to portray some kind of towering humanoid entity that appeared to be originating from an open door. It would have been peering out from around a building, with a warning sign nearby.

At some point, I might revisit the "doorman" concept and refine it into a final piece. Overall, though, I'm very happy with how this turned out!
