Realized I completely forgot this blog exists and never shared some tutorial render practice I did earlier this year.

Low poly forest scene for a course I am taking!!

This one wasn't too hard to figure out, though I think the composition could use some work. I had so much fun with all the reflective surfaces :D Being able to make puddles in the road was delightful. I think I will redo this one completely w/o help from the course material just to see if the lessons stuck. I'd also like to add some more variation to the trees. I also wonder if the background should be darker since it's more of a sunset scene?

But that's a project for another day!

Took a little bit of a break while a beloved friend came to visit, so when I sat down last night I wasn't sure if I would remember the steps. Luckily, I was able to model this little guy without any tutorials or guidance! Yippee!!

Now, it's time for the monster <3

Didn't touch blender for a couple weeks and came back to play around and see if i could remember the controls. Made a simple frame and a barrel without looking at my notes, which I will count as a success! No plans to render this as it was more like doodling in a sketchbook.
