How did you make that beetle table?
access to a fully equipped woodshop and many weeks of work
it's basically a box (plywood top+bottom inset to sit flush with the sides) w curved sides and an open front for the drawer. the bottom piece has grooves on the inside for the drawer to run along, the drawer is also just a box with the bottom inset higher so the sides can run along the grooves, and the mandible was cut separately and attached after
legs turned on the lathe, cut at angles, and screwed into the bottom
milled wood, glued into larger work pieces and cut into the beetle design, routed the edges to be curved, then glued to the plywood top. the wings aren't actually attached they just slot into a pivot point dowel and have another dowel that runs along a groove to limit their range of motion
