A shiny Ghostie was modeling for me this morning after feeding time. He even gave me a lil doot and I got it on camera!! A doot!!! The smallest yawn!
Sadly my black angelfish, Pearl, died after my brother accidentally overfed while I was on vacation. Ghost can't be killed however so he's still king of the tank. He stays silver like this most of the time but he can turn his fins completely black. He's also got one black stripe on one side and some black spots on the other he can show or fade at will. His black eyepatch is usually visible (he likes to embrace his inner pirate). He's even more selective on when he shows me his blue flash. You can see it a little in his dorsal fin in the doot picture, and in his antennae. Every now and then he goes all sparkly blue for me.
Since Pearl has been gone, Ghost hasn't been showing me his colors as often and I feel bad for him. Introducing new angelfish to his tank will be difficult at his age so I'm still deciding how to navigate that.
