authors note: Hey guys, so I know there might be a misunderstanding with the year 13 and college stuff. Okay so I’m from America, so I was trying my best to figure out how that would be in UK. I just realized I completely wrote it wrong. But in the next chapter it’ll be more correct! Kellie is still in a higher level of college, cause she’s the oldest. but it will all still be the same like I put but just I’ll try to make the schooling more accurate!

It was a regular somewhat sunny Saturday in North England. The weather had been alright. It usually wasn’t this sunny, but it was still nice. The group were hanging around some area of the campus. They had their spot. It was a circle area, with a table big enough for a group of seven. A few of them were sitting down talking with each other. Jasim and Quinn were sitting close together. Sharing a blueberry banana smoothie. The two had been close since year 13, but got together their freshman year of college. Kellie was busy studying on her sociology class. While her mates were busy chatting about whatever. Mima was showing JJ her new dance routine for her dancing class she signed up for. She had joined a small dancing class ran by a dance instructor, that taught all sorts of dancing. To be fair, Mima only joined because she didn’t want to have to take a physical education class. In her mind, they’re boring but dancing is fun. As Mima was showing her dance skills, JJ tried to copy. JJ moved his left foot in an attempt to copy Mima, and did a hop to the right. He fell right onto his bum and they all bursted out laughing. Callum was having a smoke on the side watching his mate James skate. James was skating nearby and doing tricks he had learned from some other guys on campus. Even though they were all different grades, they all remained close. They had all been close. Some were closer together than others. Kellie was the oldest. She was the only senior in the group. Mima being the second, she was a junior. Alongside JJ, whom also was a junior. Kellie and Mima were close friends. Kellie met her last year during her junior year. Thats how she met JJ and the others. Jasim and Quinn were sophomores. The youngest of the group was James, who was a freshman. Same with Callum, although he wasn’t younger in the same way James was. He was a year older than him but still in the same grade level.
At the table, Kellie was still working on her studies. Mima had stopped her dancing and was now lying on the grass. “You guys..” Quinn said looking around at everyone. “Hm?” Mima answered tilting her head up just enough to view Quinn’s face. “Okay..Okay.” Quinn began, “You know this is a new year, new college year. It’s already the first month, and nothing interesting has happened!” They said throwing their hands up in exaggeration. “And your point is?” Kellie said. “Well I just mean that WE could be doing something. I mean sure, sitting around with your mates is fun and all but there’s got to be something else we could do..” Quinn replied glancing at Kellie. Jasim tilted his head at Quinn and nodded in agreement. “I mean, I agree. Quinn does have a point. It is a new year, there’s got to be something.” He said. Soon everyone started to think. Quinn was right, it was a new year. Shouldn’t they do something? Join clubs, start a club? The group had never done anything like that before. But it was clear they wanted a change. “Well, what could we do? And besides what are you even thinking Quinnie?” Mima asked now sitting up from her spot. Quinn sighed and shrugged. They didn’t seem to know either. Until James stopped skating and offered an idea. “Yo, we could join college sports. I mean not all of them are good, but we could join one-all together.” He said. “As a team!?” Mima squealed in excitement. “You know that doesn’t sound like a bad idea James.” Callum said giving him a pat to the back. Kellie looked unsure but agreed. She was getting tired of constantly worrying about her studies. “Only problem is the college sports suck. Maybe we could come up with our own?” Kellie said gesturing her hands. They all thought for a moment. What could they come up with. Kells was right, there wasn’t a lot of good sports nor clubs to join. “Football! We could make our own football team. Just like the one back then. You know?! I mean there hasn’t been one since..” James began-“Since Crystal!! That Jimmy Crystal guy.” Callum said. James and Callum gave each other a grin and chuckle, then turned to the group waiting for their response. “So-you two are saying that we could make a brand new football team in honor of the Jimmy Crystal?” JJ asked curiously. “Absolutely.” James and Callum said at the same time. Kellie agreed. “I mean why not? Crystal was and is a living legend around here. Why not carry that honor? Besides there really hasn’t been a college football team since then. It would be nice to bring it back.” Kellie said. Everyone agreed.
The group figured out a way to get their idea approved. Thankfully, there was enough people to make the team. Although some of them weren’t to good at football. That’s where the idea for a cheer team came. Mima mentioned she wasn’t too good at kicking balls and didn’t like the idea of it. Quinn quietly agreed but expressed they still wanted to get their adrenaline up in some way. The idea of having a cheer team came from Kellie. She proposed that four, whoever were good at sports could play on the team. Then the rest could make a mini squad of players who would cheer them on. Support the team and help them with sportsmanship. On the cheer team were Mima, JJ, and Quinn. On the football team it was Kellie, James, Callum, and Jasim. Mima was excited to share her dance routines for the team. Since she was in dance, it was useful for her.
