I was asked to contribute a cover of a Before Braille song for a compilation and I chose “Secret No. 8″ and gave it the vibraphone and Rickenbacker treatment.

The Retaliation for What They Have Done to Us was a short-lived "side project" for members of Before Braille.   According to "legend," Before Braille's then-label was restricting its activity as a band, so, "in retaliation," David Jensen, Rajiv Patel, Kelly Reed, and Brandon Smith formed a new project and created some ridiculous instrumental post-rock.  This is essentially a live recording of an entire set…and it is worth every second of its 17 minutes!
