Yeah, I would say that approach worked, with one bleach plus the toning shampoo treatment!
I ended up leaving it on like 70 minutes, after checking at an hour, since I got busy and wasn't thinking about getting into the shower being more complicated and time consuming these days. 🙄
Looks like one sideburn didn't get the best coverage, but that shouldn't really matter once color is on. Overall, I'm really pleased with the results!
My scalp isn't even particularly angry. I think the coconut oil did help with that.
