Food is dangerous! Let me explain. On Saturday, my mom made ham and cheese biscuits, the flakiest, cheesiest, all around best biscuits ever. I took a hunk of biscuit and popped it I'm my mouth pretty much as soon as they came out of the oven. Now the cheese was still super hot, and a string of cheese dangled off it. It popped the piece in my mouth and took a swig of milk to help cool it. Almost immediately afterwards, I bellowed in pain because that dangling string was sticking to my lip, still super heated, and burning me! I managed to get it off, but now I have a second degree burn on my lip. Moral of the story: ALWAYS LET YOUR FOOD COOL AFTER HEATING IT! UNLESS YOU WANT SECOND DEGREE BURNS!
