God I really am a 55 year old man on all levels except physical

#me watching Columbo Mash and Starsky and Hutch I think is what really did me in #no joke earlier today I was talking to my cousin in his mid 20s and I mentioned that I’ve seen mash and he was like that’s significantly #before your time #and I’m like baby girl I’m well aware of this fact

I hate it when people reference something but follow it up with “You probably wouldn’t know about this, it was before your time”.

Ok, not only was I raised on old westerns (1930s) and classic musicals (1950s+) and have actually watched The Jazz Singer (The first “talking picture” circa 1927)... but I am a millennial, I have been doing stuff on the computer most of my life and can barely remember a time before the internet. I literally have access to a vast majority of the information known to mankind within a handful of google questions. Plus, I know how to use a reference book, and took some excellent history classes in college. Also, I was raised religiously and took some excellent bible/religion classes in college.

Just because it happened before I was born doesn’t mean I don’t know about it. So what exactly is before my time?
