this is a STARTER CALL for BRUCE BANNER (0/?) please like/comment which character you would like a starter for! this one is unlimited for now while i get back into the swing of things.
Under the cut is some info about Sharon, I took some liberties because TFATWS isn't finished but I am drawing SOME inspiration from it. It shouldn't be spoiler heavy — that might change when the show wraps up but I doubt it because I'm taking a lot of liberties with it too so that it makes sense in RP!
For those of you that were here the last time I played Sharon — I'm starting from scratch here! Sharon has been in Madripoor for the last five years and completely off the grid.
She contacted Helena (@thelastbertinelli) shortly after she went on the run and got a jump start in Madripoor with it. She saw Steve Rogers (@libertycaps) a few months into that stint, but outside of that, she's had no contact with anyone else. (Or at least she didn't reach out to them — but they could have seen her in Madripoor!)
Sharon is Peggy Carter's niece, if y'all didn't know! She's always wanted to be like her aunt but she also wanted to be respected as her own agent, so when she was at SHIELD, she never revealed her last name. (Outside of a handful of people.) She was always Agent Thirteen, never Carter, never Sharon.
And no one knows that Sharon is Agent 13 unless you've met her in the field! Or she's told you! (If you're not sure if your character knows or not, just IM me!)
She was Fury's top choice to protect Steve Rogers after the Avengers Initiative was formally in play.
Sharon sided with Steve in the Civil War. (She'd say not against Tony and more against the government and what they'd do if they ever got their hands on Bucky Barnes but... you know. Feelings TM. Betrayal. That sort of thing.)
In Madripoor, Sharon went under deep cover. Working with smugglers and trying to destabilize the powers that were running the city there, but instead of taking it apart, she found herself becoming an essential piece of the action happening inside the country. The deeper she got into the underworld, the more clear it became that Madripoor would collapse without the illegal trading. (Sharon, eventually, became a key part of the problem there too.)
Sharon is coming back in current time, so she's just gotten back! With the ratification of the Accords and the changes to the laws recently, under that new scope, Sharon's no longer guilty of treason for helping Steve and the others in Germany. This will be the first time she's seen many of these people since five years ago!
She is wary of SHIELD right now (and probably will forever be), and is still trying to figure out just how Hydra got in and how deep it went — but even on the surface level, Sharon is not liking what she sees SHIELD doing or what it represents anymore.
Connection / Plot Ideas
Sharon was one of SHIELD's top agents before it fell, she could have easily been given a mission in the city your character was stationed or protecting — or even directly pursuing them if you'd like!
If your character has ever been around or in some circle of crime, Sharon could have been undercover there at some point as well!
If your character has ever been on the outs with SHIELD for other reasons (other former spies, or avengers that shield frowns on because they are Like That TM sometimes) then they can join Sharon while she tries to tear it apart from the inside out!
If you're an Avenger or Avenger-adjacent, Sharon is very close with Tony (and Maria Hill and Nick Fury Jr.) so there is an easy connection there!
Has your character been to Madripoor in the last five years at all? Sharon was there and deeply involved in business there! So coming into contact with her at some point there would be super easy.
Sharon doesn't sell her services as a spy (anymore rip shield and the cia) but she is willing to trade information for information. Her connections in Madripoor give her a large scope of information to touch on along with the things Sharon already knows.
Past romantic connections? They would be well in the past like, pre-2011, because from that point forward she was married to her job and on/off dating Trip!
