Story - summarized
Qing Yumo decides to wear an old design of hers. Everyone at work is stunned by its beauty, and they ask her about it. She gives few details, mainly keeping to herself.
A coworker suggests then that everyone get special fortune telling readings for the spring season. Everyone decides to get a romance reading. “Will you get one, too?” they ask Yumo.
She insists that she is too busy for that. But after she heads home, she goes to the website and does the free romance reading. Her result is “Wisteria - Hidden Secret.” Yumo then reflects on the inspiration behind her dress.
She had been a loner in school, with everyone talking about her behind her back. Her only source of comfort was the online design forum. She met a boy who called himself “Breeze” on the forum, and they would chat about the newest designs.
On a school trip, Yumo wore a dress she made from Cloud Spring, a precious material. She almost bought a paper umbrella to go with the dress - a boy stopped her and said he had to buy it for a friend. Reluctantly, she let him get it.
It started raining then. The boy came over and held the umbrella up. She was the “friend” he was getting it for. And this boy was Breeze from the forum. Yumo was too stunned to speak. The two youths stood in silence under the wisteria in the rain. Once the sky cleared, Breeze folded the umbrella and gave it to her.
Back at school, the two kept up correspondence through the forum. Yumo revised her dress and turned it into Dawn of Spring, complete with the umbrella Breeze gave her. To her surprise, her design was popular.
But Breeze never commented again.
To this day, Yumo regrets not saying anything to him.
Connections
-In this Reflection, Yumo comes off as aloof, but shy. In the first Chinese New Year event, when Nikki and Momo are looking around to grant wishes, it’s confirmed that Yumo gets shy around men
-In the Index, Yumo says in the About Nikki section of her profile that Nikki inspires her to get out of her shell and make more friends. We see from Chapter 4 onward, and especially during the Cloud New Year event, Yumo try to speak up more.
Fun Facts
-This is probably the easiest SSR suit to obtain (besides Twinkle Twinkle). All you have to do is the dailies when you make a new account, and with each new step, you gain more of the set over the course of a week.
-Once you level up Dawn of Spring to Level 70, Yumo wonders if she would be brave enough to talk to Breeze if she had a second chance. It’s very likely that she would take the chance instead of go through regret a second time.
