Twenty years ago tonight, I had my first date with The Rude Guy who later became my husband... the not so rude guy. There isn't much that we don't share...a love of music, film, great writing, incredible television shows, a deep, abiding faith in God. I can't imagine sharing my life with anyone else. He has made me feel so very special today in many ways... from his glorious Facebook tribute to me, to our reservations at the same restaurant and the SAME TABLE as our first date, to the flowers that were waiting for me at that table.
