Is it possible that a bird loose it's head, when it hit a window?

A tit hit my window and as i went outside to look what happened, i found it's dead little body.

But the head is missing. Strange.

We have a lot of magpies around. I think that one of them killed the little guy and lost the body somehow against my window..
