And so after unceremoniously dropping this hobby for a while, I’ve just as unceremoniously decided to try and get back into it.

I think it’d be rude of me to try and just go back to old threads as if no time has passed, though anybody who wants to revisit them or even just revisit the premise is free to approach and ask, of course!

Among other things I’ll be trying to do, on top of logging in at least once a week, and also greeting any and all new followers, will be to be more confident in whatever I do, whether it’s serious or silly.

Name: The initial handle I usually go by in full is ‘freshlybaked’ which can be shortened in all sorts of ways.

Prefered pronouns: Her and She.

Selectivity: I’m not even sure myself anymore. I like to think I’m pretty open to anybody and everybody or at least try to be, though I really don’t go out of my way these days to initiate interactions.

Favorite animal: Rabbits are usually high up on my list.

Favorite muse you’ve had so far ever: I haven’t had too many other than Seiga so she remains the favourite easily just from time spent.

Muse you kinda wanna pick up: I could probably come up with a different answer every other day.

Most identifiable fictional character: Gosh, I don’t really want to sit here and think too long about it because I know I’d sit here and think a very long time on it. Besides, most of the time when I look at fictional characters, it’s less so I think about who is identifiable, and who I wished I was more like.

What color your aura is/think it is: Maybe... blue? Red? Purple? I have no idea. Is it cheating if I said it could change every now and then?

Personality stuff you agree with (astrology, mbti, Hogwarts house, etc be as specific as you want!): I’ve actually never bothered to find out where I would currently stand on most of those things! 

Although... I played this video game, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. There’s a quiz you take and in the end they make you a Pokemon choosing one out of a list. I ended up getting Pikachu and I couldn’t help but feel special about it, since you know, that’s the ‘face’ of Pokemon as a whole.

Do you think you’re a good driver: I’m not even a good walker.

Favorite minor discourse: I like seeing discussions and back-and-forths as long as people can remain civil, polite, or sane.

Favorite vine and/or meme: For Vines, the first thing that comes to mind is this one man and his many parodies of a line from Dexter, just saying things that rhyme with it along with accompanied visuals. 

And I don’t know, any meme is able to get me to laugh eventually with enough repetition.

Why did you choose this muse: I think I’ve told the reason a different way every time it has come up, and I also try to keep it as simple and short each time because there’s honestly not any interesting a story behind it. I read a lot of Ten Desires doujins in the past, Seiga seemed like good material for an rp blog since she’s usually a solo operator (with jiang-shi in tow), and I hadn’t seen too many touhou rp blogs that featured her aside from exactly two.

Favorite rp memory: It’s embarrassing to say, but way early on like the first few weeks where someone I was threading with assured me I was doing a pretty excellent job at this whole writing and roleplaying thing.

Favorite thing you’ve written, in rp or not: I can’t really name an example at this time, but I hope I can one day for something. Maybe several somethings too.

A line/lyrics/quote/etc you like or that means a lot to you: I try to think of one but I just keep remembering lots of really cool or memorable quotes from TV.

@volatilepaths / @kakokaini I know we don’t really talk or interact much compared to in the past, but you are still among the first people I dared reach out to and biggest reasons I try to do my best to enjoy not only this blog, but being creative in general. Just wanted to remind you of that, is all.

[[What plots have you always wanted to write, but never had the opportunity to? Are there any writers you'd particularly enjoy such a thread with?]]

I assume you mean specific kind of scenarios to roleplay and not just writing in general. If it was the latter, I could drum up wishful ideas for stories all day.

Anyhow, when I think about plots I want to do here, it’s almost always associated with a specific other roleplayer. I’d feel a little awkward bringing them up, saying “I wish I could do ‘this’ kind of scene with ‘this blog’!” because if they read it, they might feel weird! 

More general or vague plots would perhaps be:

Seiga having to challenge someone in a game of wits or schemes (I’m not really smart enough to do such a thing organically)

Yoshika getting to be a dangerous and intimidating zombie towards someone else.

Just having Seiga integrate/intrude in whatever setting/situation that involves the other blog’s character(s).

The third point is what really makes her feel like an easy slot-in fanfic character, doesn’t it?

I guess if I haaaaad to come up with a specific example, I might sometimes wonder or think about what kind of place Seiga would end up in the far future, say three hundred years? Or maybe in a sci-fi setting, since I’ve never done much of those with her before.

Maybe even find her way onto some space station while passing by and deciding (or being forced to) stick around for whatever reason, hint hint.

Okay, I usually don’t bother making posts that ultimately just say ‘not going to post for a bit’, but I currently feel oddly bad about my blog being potentially dead silent for two weeks straight.

It’s been a rough week and so any writing is going to have to wait until the following weekend, sadly. Other than the usual drafts, I did want to address some specific things.

Those of you waiting on replies from freshgodthatlikeshills, @timestrandedodst , @ac-generations , @storysenpai , @theblueempath , I haven’t forgotten about any of those despite what it seems!

And there’s a certain ask from @hauntedgensokyo that I received. The answer I eventually plan to give probably won’t be too interesting, but I did see that ask while I was in the midst of throwing around words on a paper, and it may or may not have inspired an idea for a one-off, since I’ve been wanting to do more writing for it’s own sake. Now, I don’t like making promises or even implications that I might not be able to follow up on... But I’m doing exactly that because I need to kick myself in the rear more.

Anyhow, expect actual content some time in the future, because right now I’m just grinding for choco coins in FGO. Did you guys know Tamamo Cat is the best? I didn’t either.

Though before that, I did dabble a bit of roleplaying on some forum chats for a few months, which is where I discovered the passion for this hobby. ▐ PLATFORMS USED: Tumblr is most prominent, but just about any kind of messaging system could work for me. ▐ BEST EXPERIENCE: I couldn’t really pin any one thing down. At the risk of sounding conceited, probably when people tell me they like what I put out.

▐ MALE OR FEMALE: Even though all muses I’ve played before have been female, I wouldn’t really mind either way.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO TAKE ON YOUR CURRENT MUSE ( THAT YOU ARE POSTING THIS ON ): Oh gosh, I don’t even remember exactly. It was either gonna be her or Yamame when I decided I would get in on this role-play blog stuff, and I leaned towards her because I had read like, a hundred Ten Desires doujins before.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ASPECTS OF YOUR CURRENT MUSE: I could go at length about this but I wanna keep aaaall of these short so... One favourite aspect, at least, is that I find it so fun to get into the head of someone like her. Ridiculously long-lived and only living for herself, and I like drawing what depth there could be had from her backstory.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING: Honestly these days it’s pretty much ‘I should update the blog’ when I’m not busy, because writing in of itself is still enjoyable to me. That said, more and more, I’ve been more inspired by all the media I consume to write fiction or stories I wanna see.

FAVORITE TYPES OF THREADS: Anything both posters enjoy writing, I guess.

BIGGEST STRUGGLE IN REGARDS TO YOUR CURRENT MUSE:  Often I worry I end up just writing what I’d do in a situation instead of what she would. I’m also afraid I’ve been neglecting her ‘wicked’ or negative aspects too much, and making her appear too flawless otherwise.
