Hey darlings!
As some of you have no doubt noticed, things have been a little slow around Behold lately-- much of the staff has had a lot of personal and technological troubles, making it hard for us to commit to the site in the way we feel it deserves. And for that we apologize so very, very much. You all deserve so much better, little stars, as does the site!
So, in order to breathe new life into the site, as you may have noticed from our latest announcement, we’ll be taking Behold offline for a short period of time-- approximately a month-- in order to spruce it up, make it bright and shiny again, and throw ourselves into the site with renewed energy.
Here are a few things you can expect from the rework:
new staff members to help us keep things running smoothly
a bright, fancy new skin
a new subplot (or two!); the other ones will be reevaluated to see how best we can make them work with the site
new creatures added to the site bestiary
a big, dramatic site event to start things off with a bang
We’re so sorry for the lull, my loves-- but we’re very much looking forward to Behold a Pale Horse coming back stronger than ever, and we hope you’ll (re)join us for the ride!

Hey guys! We’ve had a great first few days on the site, but now’s the slippery slope-- non-competitive Tumblr reserves expire in a little under an hour, at 9PM PST/MIDNIGHT EST. If you’d like to re-reserve a character, they will become competitive, so make sure to get those apps in!
