Before he knew of Zoey, he truly didn’t have an eye for contests much. Afterward, he decided to look more into and see it in another kind of light.

He’s uncertain about the way she deals with certain things, but to each their own.

He is aware that she is a powerful opponent in her own right and respects the strength she is able to wield with her Pokémon.

1. Platinum-Gameverse Dawn isn’t the same girl Zoey knows in canon, and is an entirely different person to Zoey than Anime Dawn. To Dawn, Zoey’s just some hot-shot coordinator who wants to be yet another mentor to her (which is kind of annoying) and to Zoey, Dawn is the daughter of a disgraced coordinator who was once world-famous but forced into retirement. 

2. Dawn legitimately doesn’t get why Zoey’s relationship with her Froslass is so strained. Having evolved hers from a wild Snorunt she captured, she’s not even aware that there’s any other way to obtain one and doesn’t understand why Zoey puts up with a pokemon who so clearly harbors resentment to her. 

3. Zoey doesn’t know that Dawn doesn’t actually do any of the work during contests. It’s all Pip--every bit of it. Dawn isn’t giving him any directions or guidance. Then again, no one really knows that, and she’d probably be banned if officials were aware. 

4. Dawn really doesn’t dislike Zoey, but she does get aggravated with her easily. Anyone who talks too much with a condescending and belittling attitude (re: cyrus and galactic admins) tends to get a crueler side of Dawn, but she knows that Zoey is a genuinely good person (where most people who talk to her that way aren’t).

[ I follow you because I always love meeting new Coordies in the community, especially OCs--and because I'm really intrigued that you play game-style Contests whereas most people choose anime-style. There's so much potential in your brand-new blog and I can't wait to see how it all plays out! <3 ]
