What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a wizard? Well, you got a certain amount of prestige, but you were often in dangerous situations and certainly always at risk of being killed by a fellow mage. He saw no future in being a well-respected corpse.

I'm a Wizard and I brew potions.

Yeah, I just got into Pottermore this morning and have been on and off of it nonstop all day. I know a lot of people do not necessarily like the usernames being chosen from three premade ones, but I've grown very fond of mine...So fond that I think I'm going to change my blog name to it (Yeah, just did it. Feel free to add me on pottermore).

In other news, this morning afte rushing home from Walmart to get on, I got my wand and was sorted. Both of these experiences on this online site were jdlakjgwka (at a lost for words that's how dorky I am).

My wand is English Oak with the core of a phoenix feather and it is 10 3/4 inches. Unbending.

As for House Sorting....

I think everyone who has read the books has basically chosen their house for them based off the descriptions of what the houses mean. I wasn't sure what I was. I felt like I had Hufflepuff tendencies. I had moments of being a Gryffindor. I'm in AP classes and take other honor classes, so Ravenclaw has come to mind. As for Slytherin, I'm pretty good a deceiving others...It's the whole innocent act :3.

The Houses I really wanted were either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff.

And I got...GRYFFINDOR. I did a dance when I was sorted into it.

As for my other shenanigans on pottermore, I have avoided the dueling because I'm afraid of how I'd fair against others...and I don't know what to expect.

BUT, I've found I'm really good at brewing potions...Though, I did make one explode and break my cauldron... Aha.

like that one scene in that episode of Hey Arnold that for some reason I can't find a clip of on youtube. You know, the one where Grandma is training Arnold Karate kid-style so that one kid won't take his bus pass.
