I've been getting back into beading with a loom. It's pretty relaxing and I'm having fun finding designs to try on Pinterest. This is going to be a fish skeleton choker. I'll post an update when it's done!

For the first time in a really long time I want to go home and do yarn work. And that makes me so happy I can’t even express.
This is my project for the day! I keep wanting a rug for our living area (we are in a travel trailer as part of the ‘tiny living’ lifestyle) and rugs are so expensive! I have a lot of fabric that my mother-in-law was holding for me from when we moved previously so I have the materials needed to make one of these! I am trying really hard to be productive every day so that I can get used to wanting to be up and moving about and doing something. I haven’t decided on the colors just yet, but I am excited to see what happens! Should I post progress pictures as I go?
One down one to go first one is always hard for me 😅 second one I at least have something to reference.
No but seriously, dudes. Wool is expensive and woolly items are worth it, especially hand-knitted and those made by small businesses*. I just find it hilarious when a multi-million dollar company puts a several hundred dollar price tag on things that will cost you maybe 70 dollars, 100 dollars max to make? If you buy the yarn new.
As for me, I used all the scrap yarn I had and bought the rest from flea markets, so let's say 20-30 dollars? I spent hours on this, yes, but my labour is free :P
*(For example, this jumper is hand-knitted from 100% sheep wool and it costs a little over 400 dollars, which is laughable.)
