to an extent it makes sense for social media sites to show suggested follows who know the same people you do, but there should be, like, an upper limit to that. tell your algorithm if somebody is friends with 85% of the same people as me, we've both been on the site for years, and I'm not following them, it can safely assume there is a Reason
