AT THIS POINT, ALEYNA HATED coming back to her own apartment. She spent most time at the library or staying with friends these days, hoping that the distance would be able to help her. The reality was that she had developed feelings for her roommate's significant other. She hadn't meant for the feelings to develop, let alone grow. But you see them clad in only a towel one time and then another there was some heavy sexual tension in the kitchen at three am and suddenly you're sure that cupid himself is playing with your emotions. It was getting harder and harder to go back, the fear that something might happen always bubbled beneath the surface for Aleyna and the worst part was she was close with her roommate, how could she betray them like that? Her key slipped into the lock and allowed her inside with ease, her arms were filled with books and a small of grocery items that she juggled until they were on the counter. When she turned around they were right there, causing her to jump in surprise. "Jeeze you scared the hell out of me." She paused before continuing, "Beth has night class tonight, remember? I don't know if you want to stick around but I have some ramen noodles for dinner and you're more than welcomed to join." Probably not the best idea to invite your crush to eat dinner with you but she won't think of too hard.
