Being Human BBC Original series 1-3. This supernatural comedy/drama revolves around the concept of two young men sharing an apartment. While this seems like a tried and tested formula for television, the twist is that Mitchell is a vampire and George is a werewolf. Complicating matters further is the small issue of the pair's newfound home being haunted by the ghost of Annie, a young woman with unfinished business of her own. Darkly funny, quite gory in the right aspects and affectively moving within its emotional core, Being Human was an absolute gem to watch during its original run time on the BBC, always looking forward to the next episode, and wondering how it'll all play out. The original cast from series 1-3 made the show, with their brilliant chemistry and genuine friendship and understanding of each other. And the supporting casting are too brilliantly written and developed, and with a few surprises throughout the series. A personal acknowledgement towards the design team for producing one of the best werewolf transformations since Rick Bakers An American Werewolf in London, each transformation is produced by puppeteers and makeup, no cgi, and is unique within it's own quality but becomes unsettling to watch as its described and viewed as unbearably painful. Top notch creation for the effects team 👌 For storyline I prefer to to be spoiler free, but I'd hugely recommend anyone to watch this series and immerse yourself in a fantastic, contemporary horror series that revolves around the loss and regaining of one's own humanity. A near perfect series 👌 Being Human I give you a 9.5/10 ~Mr Myers #horrorreview #beinghumanBBC https://www.instagram.com/p/CHqOXfllq8H/?igshid=b48xginyw6oz
