A week after the bombings in Beirut, a necessary message to the people of Lebanon that your victims aren’t worthless and deserve to be globally mourned too.

And here’s the expanded version of that post I wrote about why I think people are reacting more to the attacks in Paris than the ones in Beirut. I talk a little about racial bias and then switch to how media creates a biased and distorted image of the Muslim world and create a 21st century version of The White Man’s Burden.
