Ok out of everything in Supernatural, Gertrude Case has to be the creepiest... as soon as she saw Sam, she was feeling him up and flirting with him. Then at the party she literally assaulted/unconsensually groped and touched him???
I don't understand how you can go from Dean saying "Don't objectify me" to Bela and in the same episode literally a minute later, have Sam groped all night..
Just because it happens to a dude, doesn't mean its funny or okay :))))))
Maybe it's just me but Toni reminds me of Bella
Maybe it’s just the English accent? I think she’s already been established as quite different from Bela. She might be from a similar social class, have a somewhat different understanding of the Supernatural based on her own particular experiences in comparison with Sam and Dean’s, but it’s again different from Bela’s.
Bela came into the world of the supernatural in a very different way, as a victim of it, and then quickly learned to use it to her personal advantage. Toni, we are led to assume, likely grew up in the same sort of Men of Letters Legacy environment that Henry Winchester had been a part of. She’s obviously quite capable to have been sent on this mission alone (like Delphine had been sent by her mentor in the MoL to retrieve the Hand of God in 11.14).
But I think there are more differences between them than similarities. Bela owed her loyalty to no one. She made her own decisions and lived by them. Toni is already associated with the MoL and presumably represents and upholds THEIR decisions. At least for right now. She also is a mother who cares for her child, and as such she may have stakes in dealings with the supernatural that Bela didn’t have. Tony has a CHILD, Bela had a cat.
I don’t know, but I do think she’s being set up to be a very different kind of character than Bela was.
Every time I watch a supernatural episode with bela I get really pissed off at how Sam and dean treat her. Like i will never get over how she's shown in such a negative light....
