I am three days late on a new years post not involving food. That being said. I have had a year of ups and downs. Got accepted to Law School. Had to defer law school for back surgery number 2. Got good at a job I'm not sure I love but I work with amazing people. Didn't go on enough adventures but the one's I did get to go on included amazing people. The time keeps on slipping.

Soon, I will be on a plane to continue my journey into service. I have spent the past three months chatting with the new Corps members on Facebook, doing my best with Michaela to inform them about the program. I hope most of them stay. They have potential to be a good bunch. No one stands out as team member. I guess that's the trouble of being a second year. You are use to roots, your origin. Oak 5 was a home, I felt her arms around me like an involved, loving mother. 2015 isn't trying to play as a replacement. But her hands feel foreign. The mannerisms are nerving me. "Who are you?" I shout into the void. "Different," is the recieve answer. NCCC is wonderful. There are an absurd amount of unknowns. And that makes me uncomfortable. But if it is anything like last year (unpredictable, chaotic, fun, and engaging) the door to home will be open for another 10 months. I miss Oak 5. Let's see what 2015 has in store for me.
