For the character matchups - who would hang with jaspen? She's a harlequin rose sylvari and alchemical researcher. She can be a little mean with the sarcasm, but it's mostly because she's too insecure to show genuine emotion and be vulnerable. When she's not working, she spends time watching bad holo dramas or crashes in other people's rooms to share drinks or play dumb party games. She likes any excuse to visit warmer places where she can get lots of sun, and spends a lot of time on such trips hanging around bars or attending parties to flirt, dance, and meet weird people (this was wayyy to long winded oops)

In the sylvari department we have Beldahvia, who definitely would've had a lot in common with Jaspen personality-wise in her youth, but since Mordremoth's Call she really had to sit down and sort herself and her priorities out. She still has a bit of her former snooty, flirty, holier-than-thou attitude, and certainly remembers how to handle herself in all sorts of social scenarios, but is a lot more willing to show her softer side nowadays, especially around children/saplings. Plus, being a necromancer - specifically, a harbinger - she's also an alchemist of sorts! Just...don't ask her about where her elixirs come from. :)
Leaning more into the alchemist/scientist side of things though we have Taliyah, who personality-wise sounds like an opposite to Jaspen? Stern and serious, very organized and straight-laced, but also very honest and open when dealing with others, never concealing her motives or emotions. Funnily enough, she tends to prefers the cold, which is great because she spends much of her time in chilly hospitals and medical wards at work. She's a doctor and has dedicated her entire life to the pursuit of her craft, but has just started venturing out into the world to really see what and who she's working to preserve. Putting these two opposites together could lead to some really interesting scenarios, I think!
