I will never forgive them for making August a child again. He needs his memories, they're a part of him, it's what makes August, August. He made mistakes but he could have made up for it as he was, he could have learned from his years on earth. He didn't need to be a kid to change he just needed to make the choice to.
And like I get it, I guess they were trying to show like he "earned" the childhood he never got. One with his father, but it just doesn't sit right with me the way they wrote it. Like the fact is that he did grow up, he did have a life on earth, he did have memories. To take that away is kind of like a curse in itself, and especially in literally the episode before that I'm pretty sure Niel/Belfire made it clear to Rumplestilskin how messed up it was when he offered to turn home 14 again and make up for lost time. He didn't want that, because even though his life wasn't perfect at least it was his, August no longer has that choice.
