Heat me out, so we see Red get some of her memories from this timeline in the maze, almost like she becoming a part of this timeline which is something I saw a lot of people theorize after Ride of Red but at the end when Bridget says "Off with your head" it got me thinking what does that mean everyone else is experiencing memories from the first timeline? Like it seems to be happening slowly but imagine this.
Months pass after Wicked Wonderlan, and suddenly we keep hearing that Wonderland citizens have been getting bad dreams. All of which revolving around the queen, at first people shrug it off but then over time they subconciously start to fear her. Then on the other hand Bridget keeps having these sudden fits of anger, she'd not sleeping because she keeps having dreams of being a monster, people laughing at her, hurting people, but that's not how the dance went right? Her people love her, so then why does it feel like her Citizens are turning there backs on her? Pink is getting nervous for her mom she's acting strange, and all these weird dreams everyones getting seems to not be affecting her it's weird, her sister is feelings more and less like herself and she seems to keep thinking that their mom would hurt them. Which she would never do... right?
Chloe on the other hand is going through it, the more Ella remembers the more she wants to forget. Bridget and her... what they were, what they are? Ella tries to brush it off and tell everyone to keep smiling but Chloe has noticed her parents spending less and less time togethe, different rooms, then different castles, even with their new memories Red and Chloe feel as alienated as ever, and the worst part, in finding the truth of their past in this timeline they're also remembering truths they weren't there to say their selves. In this timeline they've known each other for much longer longer. They've told each other secrets that weren't their own, but some how it still feels like they were there to see it happen. And the cherry on top, there's no pocket watch to fix things this time.
Gang I think I got my bestie hooked on descendants we watched four and five today without context and she finally understood why I keep rambling about it. She was just like "wait there's so much potential" like YES you see the vision!! The story is amazing the execution is terrible it leaves you with questions but you love to theorize about the answer. She's also officially a glassheart shipper I'm over here recruiting fans like I'm in the army

"Red, are you okay?" Pink calls out as the floor falls from beneath them, and the girls in question just groans clearly shaken from the fall. "I'm fine, go and find the others" she calls out to her sister groggily standing up taking note of her surroundings. Pink just gives her a thumbs up before thunderous footsteps accompany her disappearance.
Red looks around for the other two, Max was knocked out, but where was Chloe?
"Looking for me?" A gentle yet dangerous voice calls out from behind her, leaving Red to jump at the noise. "Or were you looking for this?" She asked again showing off the pockewatch she'd stolen, leaving Red to tense.
"Oh calm down, it's just me. I thought we were friends." She states almost saddened by the fact Red appeared to fear her, but Red couldn't tell if that was just another way she'd meant to mock her.
"We are friends Chloe, that's why I'm here. Just tell me what happened and we can fix this okay? Just tell me what Max did to you." Red starts and Chloe let's out a bitter laugh.
"Max? No, you did this Red. I mean sure he helped me channel this anger, but the rest, that's all you. I mean you should be proud really, you finally corrupted me, I mean honestly I should be thanking you." Chloe states, and Red knows it's true, she knows this is her fault, that she should have been there when Max had found her, that she should have listened instead of shrugging off her concerns, they were supposed to be a team.
"You're right Chloe, about everything. I let you down, can we please just talk about this?" Red pleads and Chloe glares at her clearly having struck a nerve.
"Talk? Of course you want to talk, that's all you ever want to do right? Empty promises, hollow reassurances, how many times are we going to talk before you listen Red?" Chloe asked coldly, "I thought maybe you would hear a villain, like you listen to Max, or Hazel, but now I realize it's me isn't it?"
"Chloe I—"
"What? You're sorry? You didn't notice? You never do. You never see me do you?" Red is stunned silent, she hadn't realized how Chloe was feelings all this time, and she hated herself for it. 'You never see me' did she really feel that way or was it just the magic? Red couldn't tell anymore, how could she have let this happen?
Red is dragged out of her thoughts as rocks fall from above them in the rubble. Chloe unconsciously shields her bracelet despite their lack of impact, but the small gesture told her everything Red needed to know.
"You're right," Red starts taking slow steps towards the girl. "You're completely right for hating me, but I'm listening now, right? Talk to me why do you need the stop watch?" Red asked, she had to keep her talking, to keep her eyes on her.
Chloe hesitates for a moment suddenly anxious about something. "Whatever it is, I'm sure we can find another way to—"
"No!"
Chloe snaps, and Red freezes, having only managed to take a few steps closer to the girl. "Okay, okay," Red states her hands up in surrender and Chloe glares at the reaction.
"I'm not…"'she starts through grated teeth, "I'm not going to hurt you, just stay out of my way." She finishes reluctantly, and Red shakes her head.
"I can't do that." She starts stepping towards the girl once again as Chloe backed away. "I know you Chloe, you're a good person. If you went back in time now, and someone got hurt because of it you'd never forgive yourself. I don't want you to live with that guilt." Tears are in Chloe's eyes as Red spoke.
"I need to go back Red, I don't want to feel like this anymore. I'm so tired of being angry." She states.
"Then let me help you." Red begs, and Chloe just shakes her head.
"It's you I want to forget."
Red's whole body freezes, she was so close to the bracelet they were just inches apart, but it didn't even matter anymore. She couldn't feel anything but her heart break. She tries to force herself into present but it's almost impossible, she can't let that happen she couldn't lose her.
"Chloe, please, don't do this, anything but this." Red pleads with her. "I know you're angry, and I know you're hurting but please don't let it end like this. I need you. I need us.
Red isn't even trying to hold back her tears anymore, their flowing freely as she begs Chloe not to do it, and for the first time the other girls face softened for only a moment. "Please" Red pleads, holding a hand out.
"Just take my hand, we can start over. I don't care about the pockewatch, or Max, we can just leave. Right now."Chloe look at skeptically her thumb on the dial just seconds away from disappearing into a new timeline. "Figure it out, figure it out together." Red sings hoping her Chloe was still in there. She's silent for a moment, and Red starts to fear she's too late when suddenly Chloe sings back in a small voice.
"Figure it out, figure it out together"
Chloe clasps her free hand with Red's just as she'd hoped and suddenly Red's gripped tightened on Chloe's hand.
"I'm sorry" is all she says as Chloe's eyes widened at the surprise attack.
She tied to click the watch but Red acts too fast for her to process. Chloe let's out a scream, pain shooting through her body as Red ripped the bracelet from her wrist, the curse seemingly having embedded itself into her skin.
When Chloe comes to, Red is in front of her, nothing but worry etched into her features. There's a small bruise on her wrist but luckily no scarring. "Are you okay?" Red asked as Chloe suddenly looked to her in horror.
"I hurt you"
She panicks her body shaking as she remembers "no, no, nonnono" Red quickly grabs her before she can spiral any further. "Hey, hey, it's okay, we're okay." She promised and Chloe let out a breath before burrying herself in Red's chest as she finally let the tears flow freely.
"I'm so sorry for making you feel like anything less than everything to me."
Specifically the one just before the chess match when Red goes to check on Max after "Did you hear about them" because I feel like they could have done so much more especially since Red is still getting used to like communicating and being a good friend, and not being so defensive.
The group goes silent at Pink's words, they were harsh but especially for her. Hazel tries to defend Max but he stops her seemingly opposed to another fight, it was surprisingly thoughtful for a VK at least. He takes his leave as Red scolds her sister (still getting used to that) and starts to follow after Hatter.
I quickly take advantage of the small window between the conversation with Pink and the upcoming conversation with Max to try to get five seconds alone with my friend but she's always in a rush these days.
"Red wait" I call after her, grabbing her wrist in an effort to get her to stay still for just a moment. They were supposed to do this together, they were supposed to be a team, but it's like she didn't even care. "Can we talk?" I ask, just for a second. It was like we had no time to anymore.
"Now, Red" I respond, slightly harsher than I meant to, and she pauses for a second stunned. I can tell she wants to argue, and I suppose it was rightfully so, but she'd grown these last few days. She wasn't as combative as before. Red's eyes softened as she stopped resisting my grip and took a step towards me. She takes a breath before she starts.
"You're right, I'm sorry. I haven't been seeing you. What did you want to talk about?" Red asked gently, and I find myself taking a step back unconsciously as my face warmed despite my silent protests.
"Earlier this afternoon, siding with the VKs, it's like you don't even care about what about what I have to say anymore." I explained confronting the girl in front of me.
"That's not fair Chloe, look I know I might be used to their way of doing things, but I'll always trust your judgement. You know that."
"Do I?" I asked getting a bit annoyed. "Look, you know I'll follow you anywhere, but I'm starting to think you don't feel the same way. I mean you completely blew me off earlier. What happened to 'figure it out together?'" I add not wanting to hear empty promises or excuses.
"It's not like that I swear"
"Look, I came here to help but if you don't even want to listen to what I have to say... I'm not even sure why I came."
Red tenses, getting defensive again. Whatever patience she'd seemed to gain while we were together having finally run out. "I thought you came to help fix the mess we made" she starts letting out a Huff of amusement "or did I forget Chloe Charming only cares what happens to heroes. Damn anyone else who hasn't lived a perfect life." She claims and this time it's me that tenses, she'd completely shut me out.
"You know that's not what I meant." I argue but it fell on deaf ears.
"No I think that's exactly what you meant.We did this to Chloe, to him, to Maddox, to my mom we ruined the lives of everyone I cared about and now Max is being blamed for it. Do you even care at all?" I say nothing for a second, her words both harsh and hurting I try to 'yes' of course I care, I want to help. But before I can Red responds for me. "Of course not, why would care about a villain."

Mad is such a fun number I love Maddox being flamboyant and chaotic. Also I actually really like Max which makes me mad bc I was so prepared to hate him
