it’s honestly such a shame that i finished my media studies degree in 2012, before the whole memeology / meme meta stuff really started. i would have loved to write my bachelor thesis on meme studies. instead i wrote it on #believeinsherlock, which by the way i have never regretted for one second because fandom studies are and always will be very close to my heart, but if i were in uni now i would write every term paper about memes if i’m given the chance
