Hikari is not here.“ he manages to muffle out through his food as eyes see the silhouette of the blond. finishing up his bowl, taichi simply shrugs, he guesses he is here to see his sister, after all, they are the same age, and considering he ACTUALLY LIKES TK, he doesn’t mind around his sister. 

“you can wait for her here, if you want you know. she was dress shopping with mom for some party she has? a classmate is throwing a house party?“ he isn’t sure, he wasn’t really listening, but with his free hand, he makes a hand gesture for the younger boy to sit beside him. it was good that most of them were keeping their routine after everything that happened with Meiko, though he felt the separation from Agumon everytime.

Iori stood pathetically in front of Takeru’s front door. His voice was wavering, on the brink of cracking. Half wiped tear tracks remained on his face, and his eyes were swollen. He was carrying Upamon in his arms, tighten them protectively.

     “Are you falling behind on your studies? It’s stupid to lose your head to the clouds, even when there’s something as consuming as Digimon around the corner. After all, hasn’t it always been the plight of students to juggle social life, homework, and sleep all at once? Adding Digimon to the mix, you should treat Patamon like any other friendship when it comes to schoolwork ... Meaning, don’t always go out to play!”

Summer break was near, closing to the date when she and her mother would head back to Tottori. She had chosen to extend it just long enough to stay with the others until then, as difficult as it may be. After school, she’s gotten used to traveling to the beach or even bridge, watching the waters below. Even with all the construction around, it was relatively peaceful.

Meiko didn’t come with the others, but it seemed as though one of them had followed her this time around.  “Takeru-kun,” she said, keeping her attention on the waters below. Her hands loosened their grip on the railing.

- Listen, Takeru-kun. Sometimes, you just want to grab a snack to eat later. And, sometimes, when you’re a very busy person like me, you happen to forget that you’re carrying that snack in your pocket and end up not eating it. It’s just that it’s been going for me for eight months. It happens, okay?! It’s not a big deal! I’m not gross, alright?!

And by the look of her friend’s face, Miyako realized it’d only get worse if she kept going on. So she took a big plastic package from her bag and exclaimed:

- Marshmallows! I’m talking about marshmallows, Takeru-kun! The perfect camping snack~! And I took it from my father’s store just before coming here, so don’t go thinking they are old or anything!
