I am very dismayed that this Beron x Helion fic requires me to develop politics. I am also more dismayed to realize that SJM has not developed even the foundations of politics between courts in this story.

I just wanted to write about them cleaning their injuries in war and kissing passionately. Why am I coming up with trade routes and emissary duties. Why does this story require this much setup?

Though I must say that it is fun to theorize what kind of families Helion and Beron come from. But trust me, I will get these two to kiss.
